Site Based Air Condition & Facilities Engineer

Salary: £34,000 + call out + overtime + vehicle

Technical Resources are proud to be partnered with a leading incumbent services provider that specialise in the delivery of specialised engineering projects and infrastructure support to their international clients.
Due to continued growth they have a position for an experienced and qualified air conditioning biased engineer with the ability to carry out multiple roles that are critical to their client and as such are expected to identify and where possible repair any issues found.

The engineer must have the ability to carry out servicing, small works, identify faults across a varied range of works and to provide the office with detailed reports that will allow them to bring in the appropriate specialist contractors to address issues. You must also hold a current F-Gas certification with at least a minimum of one year remaining. A good understanding of BMS is preferable but not essential.

The role will be split across three buildings in Central London and will be working a mix of 2 shifts patterns, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:30 or 08:30 to 17:30, although this could change should the site facilities require. The sites have a mixture of cooling and heating systems, ranging from single splits through to chillers. In addition to these, there are computer rooms that have both water and refrigeration (CRAC) cooling units. Candidates must be able to work well in a small team as well as working alone and must be able to compile reports and check sheets using Excel and Word.

Additional works outside of air conditioning will include:

*Daily site walk rounds to identify and report in a timely manner of any issues found
*Weekly water checks and flushing and recording
*Weekly generator data recording
*Weekly UPS power readings
*Weekly fire alarm testing
*Monthly generator operational tests
*Lighting and emergency lighting checks and basic repairs
*General plumbing repairs
*Visual building checks
*Meet contractors and issue any required paperwork

They are offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000, company vehicle and 1 call in 4 call out with a standby of £140 per week, they also offer 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. There is also overtime available that is paid at x1.5 Monday to Saturday and at x2 on Sundays and bank holidays.
