We are looking for an experience IT Support engineer with good Windows OS experience. You will be working for a Managed Service Provide on a dedicated government contract on a single site in Enfield supporting up to 100 users. There is plenty of variety and new technologies to learn within the team including networking, data centre / smart hands work and project work.

You will need to go through BPSS and SC Clearance and so a clean criminal record and the last 5 years residency in the UK is essential.

Responsibilities:
*Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Enterprise Applications and Webservers hosted on Windows and Linux Servers. establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing network standards
*Manage and support the VMware environment, including storage systems, ESXi hosts and VCenter
*Manage and support the backup environment (VEEAM)
*Manage and support the Windows server environment including AD, File Systems and Print Services
*Manage and Support the MS Exchange environment (currently on premise but migrating to O365)
*Ensure desktop computers connect seamlessly with Ark's systems including associated single-sign-on (SSO), file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems
*Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems
*Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
*Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 7, 8 & 10, Microsoft Office products and any other authorised Ark desktop application
*Email and user account administration, i.e., account creation and management and distribution lists on Microsoft Exchange and passwords rest on Active Directory.
*Full UK Driving Licence
