PREVIOUS MSP EXPERIENCE NEEDED
We have a position for a 3rd Line Support Engineer position for an IT MSP Based in Addlestone with a number of different clients. They provide monitoring of systems, helpdesk & onsite support, project support and consultancy, typically under contract but also for ad-hoc or project based requirements.
Working hours are Mon-Friday 8 - 17:30, with some out of hours for projects / incidents / changes (very occasional evenings, early mornings, weekends)
The person must have a 'can do' attitude and be brilliant at problem solving issues that arise as the relevant level. They have to be motivated, customer and solution focused, able to work well alone both under pressure but productive and contributing when not, or as part of a team. They must be positive, enjoy their work and excited about being part of a growing business and being part of its success.
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
*Excellent problem solving ability
*A fast thinker
*Great at customer service
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*Experienced in Helpdesk Support
*Experience in Field Support
*Can work well with and assist other team members.
*Windows Server Operating Systems and troubleshooting
*Advanced Security considerations.
*Advanced Networking and Network Hardware
*Advanced Hardware knowledge / Ability to include Servers, Storage, Networking, Security and Virtualisation
*Experience with Wide range of tech and products: 365 / Veeam / NAS
*Extremely competent and confident in a wide range of enterprise technology.
*MCSA Certified or MCSE
*Solution design and implementation.
*Used to being the final point of escalation (may work with Venders).
*Team and project lead experience.
*A highly technical individual.
