Main Purpose of Job
To supply technical assistance to the customer base. To plan and deploy various technologies on customers premises and support to other lines within the business. A team focus is essential.

Relationships:
*Responsible to: Customer Service Manager & Technical Director.
*Responsible for: Self, Customers, Trainees & Apprentices.
*Liaison with: All Internal Business Areas, Third Party Vendors\Partners and Customers.

Prerequisites:
*Two or more years working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment in a Support Role.
*Proficient for 2 Years or more in the following:
oWorking Knowledge of Network Routing Protocols, Inc. OSPF & BGP
oA proven track record working troubleshooting LAN, WAN & Internet Technologies
oProficient with Windows Server Operating Systems (2012 and above)
oA deep understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
oWorking Knowledge of Virtualisation Technologies, VMWare and\or HyperV
*Experienced in Deploying & Supporting Firewall Technologies, for example Cisco ASA, Sonicwall Appliances.
*A proven track record of two or more years, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting server technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Windows Server & VMWare vSphere.
*DBS 5 Year Screening
*Good numeracy, Literacy and Communication Skills

Desirable:
*VMWare Certified Professional Certification (current)
*Microsoft MCSA Windows Server or above (current)
*Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA, current)
*Experience with administering and troubleshooting Mitel phone systems.
