1st line Network Support Engineer
Salary: Up to £28,000 + Company Benefits (including pension, healthcare, 24 days holiday, etc)
*Monitoring systems, receiving, categorising, logging and retaining ownership of Enterprise Data customer service incidents and service requests.
*Responsible for providing first tier support on client services.
*Incidents and service requests that cannot be resolved must be passed to the appropriate resolving group, internally and with 3rd parties, however ownership and accountability for managing the incident/service request and keeping all stakeholders informed of progress remains with the Tier 1 Data engineer.
*Monitor Dashboards for alarms on customer equipment and respond appropriately
*Monitor all London data incidents in ticketing platform, ensuring timely updates are provided to customers
Knowledge and Skills required:
*Experience in front line customer services or contact centre operations within the IT Services or Telco industries
*A basic understanding of IT & Networking communications Voice, Mobile and Data technology areas is desirable
*Client communication skills and experience in managing expectations in relation to faults, problems / incidents
*Cisco or ITIL training is desirable
