Job Title: Tracing and Labelling DC Engineer

Rate: £180 p/day
Are you a detail-oriented Tracing and Labelling DC Engineer based in London? We’re recruiting for a contract role to assist with a major asset mapping project involving cables, racks, and servers. You’ll be working in a live datacentre environment, so precision and professionalism are essential.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Trace and label cables, racks, and servers within a datacentre
- Work to existing site documentation and update records as needed
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and organisation
Experience required:
- Prior experience working in a live datacentre environment
- Comfortable handling network cabling and server infrastructure
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS Card – Data or Fibre related (essential)
- DBS check (essential)
- Must hold a valid British passport (for site clearance)
- Standard hand tools, cutters, screwdrivers
- PPE – to be confirmed
