Role : Systems Engineer
Location: Northampton, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Banbury
Salary: £30,000 to £36,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer, working across Fire, CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, service, and maintenance of integrated security systems across commercial and public sector sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded engineer looking to work on a variety of systems and technologies.

Responsibilities :

  • Install, configure, and commission Fire, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.
  • Carry out fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on all systems.
  • Work with both IP-based and legacy analogue systems.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant British Standards and company procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and junior engineers.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation and service reports.
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and site compliance at all times.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience with Fire, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of system networking, IP configurations, and software integration.
  • Good understanding of fault diagnosis, commissioning, and testing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
