Are you a Structured Cabling Project Manager based in London looking to take ownership of high-profile installation projects? As a Structured Cabling Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technically complex cabling projects from initial planning through to final handover. You will be working for an established network infrastructure provider delivering projects across London and the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and manage multiple structured cabling projects simultaneously.
- Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality and health & safety standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
- Attend and lead client meetings.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and associated documentation.
- Take responsibility for profit and loss across projects.
- Carry out site surveys, risk assessments, and progress reviews.
- Coordinate material procurement and site logistics.
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and customer service.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing structured cabling projects.
- Strong experience with Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, fibre optic, and containment installations.
- Understanding of industry standards, including TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, and BS EN.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- SSSTS / SMSTS and ECS / CSCS preferred.
