Location: Essex
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 per annum

Technical Resources are working with a leading fire protection and life safety specialist seeking an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager to oversee commercial sprinkler installation projects across the UK. This role involves managing projects from initial client brief through to final handover, ensuring financial, technical, and quality objectives are delivered in line with BS EN 12845 and LPCB regulations.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage multiple commercial sprinkler installation projects from conception to completion.

  • Take full ownership of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors to ensure project specifications and compliance requirements are met.

  • Supervise and coordinate site teams and subcontractors, ensuring all works adhere to health and safety regulations.

  • Conduct progress meetings, issue detailed reports, and ensure project milestones are achieved.

  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover documentation in line with BS EN 12845 standards.

  • Manage procurement and ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • LPCB or FIRAS Project Manager accreditation – Highly Desirable.

  • Proven working knowledge of BS EN 12845 and relevant LPCB standards.

  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification – Essential.

  • Demonstrable experience managing commercial sprinkler or fire protection projects within sectors such as retail, office, warehousing, or high-rise developments.

  • AutoCAD literacy – Beneficial.

  • Minimum 5 years’ project management experience within the fire protection industry.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills.
