Are you an experienced Fire and Security Service Manager looking to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business, driving the delivery and development of its fire and security service and project functions while ensuring NSI Gold compliance and service excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan, schedule, and manage all service and project works to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.

  • Allocate engineering resources effectively and monitor performance to meet operational demands.

  • Conduct site and engineer audits to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and NSI Gold standards.

  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

  • Track and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of engineers and apprentices through training and performance management.

  • Provide technical support and act as the main point of escalation for engineers and clients.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant British Standards (e.g. BS 5839, BS EN 50131) and emerging technologies.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and excellent service delivery.

  • Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to support business growth and client onboarding.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the fire and security industry.

  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control.

  • Excellent understanding of NSI Gold and relevant British Standards.

  • Proven success in planning, budgeting, and KPI delivery.

  • Recognised qualification in Fire and/or Security Systems (FIA Units, City & Guilds, or NVQ).

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
