Are you an experienced Fire and Security Service Manager looking to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business, driving the delivery and development of its fire and security service and project functions while ensuring NSI Gold compliance and service excellence.
Responsibilities :

Plan, schedule, and manage all service and project works to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.

Allocate engineering resources effectively and monitor performance to meet operational demands.

Conduct site and engineer audits to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and NSI Gold standards.

Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

Track and deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Lead, motivate, and develop a team of engineers and apprentices through training and performance management.

Provide technical support and act as the main point of escalation for engineers and clients.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant British Standards (e.g. BS 5839, BS EN 50131) and emerging technologies.

Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and excellent service delivery.

Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to support business growth and client onboarding.
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the fire and security industry.

Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control.

Excellent understanding of NSI Gold and relevant British Standards.

Proven success in planning, budgeting, and KPI delivery.

Recognised qualification in Fire and/or Security Systems (FIA Units, City & Guilds, or NVQ).

Full UK Driving Licence.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
