Are you a Fire and Security Service Manager based in the East Midlands looking to lead a high-performing engineering team within an established NSI Gold-accredited company? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected organisation delivering top-tier service and maintenance solutions across fire and security systems.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the service team, including engineers and administrative support staff.

  • Oversee the delivery of maintenance, service, and reactive works across fire and security systems.

  • Ensure full compliance with NSI Gold accreditation and relevant British Standards.

  • Plan, monitor, and deliver all works on time, within budget, and to agreed KPIs and SLAs.

  • Provide technical support and act as the main point of escalation for the engineering team.

  • Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through proactive service management.

  • Prepare departmental performance reports, budgets, and forecasts.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development needs.

  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new engineers and service personnel.

  • Manage departmental resources, tools, and stock efficiently.

  • Work closely with the Director to deliver on strategic business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • FIA Level 6 qualification in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (or equivalent).

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the fire and security industry.

  • Proven experience leading service delivery teams to achieve KPIs and budgets.

  • Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting systems.

  • Comprehensive understanding of NSI Gold standards, British Standards, and health & safety regulations.

  • Competent in service management software and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
