Are you a Fire and Security Service Manager based in the East Midlands looking to lead a high-performing engineering team within an established NSI Gold-accredited company? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected organisation delivering top-tier service and maintenance solutions across fire and security systems.
Responsibilities :

Lead and manage the service team, including engineers and administrative support staff.

Oversee the delivery of maintenance, service, and reactive works across fire and security systems.

Ensure full compliance with NSI Gold accreditation and relevant British Standards.

Plan, monitor, and deliver all works on time, within budget, and to agreed KPIs and SLAs.

Provide technical support and act as the main point of escalation for the engineering team.

Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through proactive service management.

Prepare departmental performance reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development needs.

Support recruitment and onboarding of new engineers and service personnel.

Manage departmental resources, tools, and stock efficiently.

Work closely with the Director to deliver on strategic business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
FIA Level 6 qualification in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (or equivalent).

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within the fire and security industry.

Proven experience leading service delivery teams to achieve KPIs and budgets.

Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting systems.

Comprehensive understanding of NSI Gold standards, British Standards, and health & safety regulations.

Competent in service management software and Microsoft Office applications.
-
Full UK Driving Licence.
