Location: London
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum

Technical Resources are working with a leading Security Systems Integrator seeking an experienced and motivated Service & Maintenance Manager to oversee their service operations. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day activities within the department, ensuring all reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works are completed efficiently, on time, and to a high standard. This role demands strong leadership, a solid technical background, and a proactive approach to performance management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and develop engineering and administrative teams.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Service & Maintenance department.

  • Schedule, allocate, and monitor completion of all reactive and PPM tasks.

  • Ensure works are delivered on time, meeting all KPI and SLA targets.

  • Audit engineering performance and ensure compliance with NSI standards.

  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.

  • Provide technical support to engineers, admin staff, and clients.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Act as the main point of escalation for client issues, ensuring timely resolutions.

  • Manage disciplinary processes in line with company procedures.

  • Support client relationship management and contribute to business growth.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience managing a service or maintenance team in a technical environment.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

  • In-depth understanding of reactive and PPM workflows.

  • Experience working with KPI and SLA frameworks.

  • Strong data analysis and performance improvement capabilities.

  • Solid technical knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarm systems.

  • Experience with systems such as CCURE, Gallagher, CEM, Avigilon, FLIR, VideoEdge, or ExacqVision (preferred).

  • Customer-focused, commercially aware, and confident in managing client relationships.
