Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Technical Resources are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to join a team in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of site maintenance and administrative functions within a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries about fire safety measures, emergency response procedures, and fire prevention best practices.
  • Respond to resident concerns and feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring effective communication with the project team.
  • Keep residents informed on construction progress and site activities.
  • Organise regular surveys and assessments to gauge resident satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide subject knowledge input to tenders and PQQs as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and feedback for reporting and analysis.
  • Arrange regular fire safety assessments in residential areas, identifying hazards and recommending preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure fire safety systems are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls and oversee both personal and shared mailboxes.
  • Raise orders with suppliers, monitor deliveries, and check invoices against orders.
  • Book travel, hotels, and vehicle maintenance appointments as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings, and prepare reports and documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team and management.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues through integrity and honesty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
