One of the UKs leading smart buildings, security & IT infrastructure providers are recruiting for a Senior Security Commissioning Engineer who has extensive experience in the commissioning and programming of enterprise level security systems. The company have a long-standing record delivering Smart Building infrastructure for some of London most prestigious construction projects and this position has come about as a result of recent project wins. The Senior Commissioning Engineer will have responsibility for ensuring that all systems are commissioned in accordance with client requirements & specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning and programming enterprise level Access Control & CCTV
Acts as the lead Commissioning resource on Project works
Mentor and support other engineering resources
Ensure accuracy of professional project documentation including handover drawings and schedules
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers as required to ensure project success
Takes ownership of all system integration tasks with other vendors & manufacturers

Candidate Requirements:

Excellent knowledge of setting up & commissioning of IP CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems including server and storage systems
An understanding of databases and Active Directory Integration
Good electrical or electronics background including the wiring of Controller boards and associated components
Clean driving license
