Role: Senior Multi Skilled Installation & Commissioning Engineer
Location: St Albans / London (within 25 miles)
Salary:
£36,000 - £42,000 per annum + Paid Door to Door + 25 Days Holiday
Technical Resources is on the hunt for a self-motivated and experienced Senior Multi Skilled Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team based in the South East. If you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and can handle the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire and security systems, this role is the perfect fit!
Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation and commissioning of electronic fire and security systems.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing systems when required.
- Provide reliable, high-quality support to clients, ensuring exceptional service is delivered at all times.
- Assist customers and the regional team with technical issues either via phone or face-to-face.
- Demonstrate flexibility with working hours when necessary to meet business needs.
- Provide assistance and train other team members as required.
- Ensure adherence to the companys vision, mission, and values.
- Adhere to company health & safety policy & procedures.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations for all site-specific work.
- Participate in toolbox talks and understand method statements and risk assessments.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire and security systems industry.
- Extensive technical knowledge of security systems.
- A systematic/logical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to perform tasks quickly, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of the London and Home Counties postcodes.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to motivate and lead by example.
- Clean driving license and ability to drive within the London area.
- Stable, consistent work history – we’re looking for someone who has held positions for extended periods, not someone who changes roles annually.
- Candidates must be within 25 miles of St Albans or within London (excluding south of the river).
- Willing to work in London and surrounding areas.
