Are you a fire safety expert ready to lead a team and deliver consultancy services on complex and high-profile projects? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Senior Fire Safety Consultant to join an established fire safety consultancy supporting both in-house teams and national client portfolios. This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career, with a focus on leadership, contractor management and technical delivery.

As a Senior Fire Safety Consultant, you'll be responsible for mentoring consultants, managing sub-contractors, and conducting advanced fire risk assessments across commercial, residential and construction environments. You’ll act as a technical lead for clients and help shape the future of the consultancy team.

Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Development
● Mentor and support consultants and assessors
● Conduct appraisals, check-ins and one-to-one coaching
● Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and training
● Provide on-the-job guidance to help develop junior staff

Contractor Management
● Support the Head of Fire in sub-contractor oversight
● Respond to contractor queries and ensure high standards
● Oversee contractor onboarding and technical compliance

Active Service Delivery
● Carry out complex fire risk assessments and site reviews
● Deliver clear, compliant fire safety reports to clients
● Provide technical advice aligned to UK fire legislation
● Act as a key point of contact for landlords, FMs and stakeholders

Experience and Certifications Required:

● Minimum of 5 years' experience conducting fire risk assessments
● Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification or above (e.g. IFE, FPA, IFSM)
● Member of IFE or IFSM
● IFE Register of Fire Risk Assessors (Tier 2 minimum, ideally Tier 3)
● Solid understanding of fire legislation, technical standards and guidance
● Strong report writing and communication skills
● Experience with construction site fire risk assessments desirable
● Leadership experience preferred, but not essential
● Proficient in MS Office and digital tools
