: Senior Fire and Security Technician

Salary:
£42,000 to £45,000 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire and Security Technician/Engineer to step into a Senior Technician role. This key position plays a pivotal part in supporting and mentoring our field technicians, ensuring compliance with all relevant British Standards and NSI Codes of Practice.
Responsibilities :

Provide expert technical support and problem-solving across all system types.

Conduct technical and quality audits in line with NSI Codes of Practice.

Perform health and safety audits on site.

Prepare detailed reports for management review.

Liaise directly with customers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Evaluate new products, perform bench testing, and provide technical feedback.

Stay current with relevant industry standards and technological developments.

Support training sessions, toolbox talks, and continuous team development.

Assist and collaborate with the Technical Helpdesk Manager on complex queries.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience in fire and security systems installation, maintenance, and fault-finding.

Strong understanding of NSI and British Standards compliance.

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.

Ability to produce accurate documentation and technical reports.
-
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
