Role: Senior AV Engineer
Location: Stockport
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Senior AV Engineer to join a growing team in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects including stadium LED installations, digital menu boards, bespoke retail displays, EOPS, and touch-point ordering systems. The role involves travelling to client sites across the North West and working closely with Project Managers and technical teams to ensure the successful installation of AV solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to client sites, primarily within the North West.
- Work alongside Project Managers and Technical teams to deliver successful AV solutions.
- Install and configure various AV systems, including digital signage, screens, and projectors.
- Deliver projects to strict SLAs, maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate data recording and reporting for each installation.
- Support and train Trainee AV Install Engineers on-site.
- Ensure compliance with HSE protocols when working on large sites.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role, working to strict SLAs.
- Demonstrated track record of installing AV solutions (screens, projectors in meeting rooms/classrooms).
- Knowledge of basic audio and signal transmission (e.g., HDBaseT).
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and professionalism.
- Working knowledge of digital signage, networking, IP, and AV technologies.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to commute to Stockport daily.
- Experience with control equipment (AMX/Crestron/SY/Extron/Kramer).
- Rack building experience.
- Basic programming skills.
- Experience with survey and specification.
