Role: Security Systems Site Manager
Location: Scotland
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Vehicle + Overtime + Travel Time + Overnight Stay Allowance
Technical Resources are seeking an experienced Security Systems Site Manager with a background in security systems and construction project delivery. You need to be a hands-on, motivated professional to oversee security system installations across Scotland. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards — with the flexibility to travel and manage site teams directly.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret project plans and specifications
- Coordinate materials, labour, and equipment to meet project timelines
- Supervise site activities and subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery
- Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety standards
- Monitor material quality and site progress
- Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, and Contractors to resolve issues
- Provide recommendations for cost-efficiency and project improvements
- Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation
- Manage procurement negotiations with contractors and vendors
- Develop practical solutions to overcome site-based challenges and delays
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Experience in a similar role (Site Manager, Site Engineer, Civil Engineer)
- Background in security system installations or technical construction environments
- National Grid project experience (essential)
- Valid driving licence (essential)
- Familiarity with SR163 (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of CAD software
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage different personalities and remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to travel and stay away as needed
