: Security Small Works Engineer

Salary:
£32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Small Works Engineer to join a leading electronic security systems integrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering small installation, upgrade, and remedial projects across commercial and public sector sites.
Responsibilities :

Install, modify, and upgrade CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Carry out small works and remedial projects following service engineer reports.

Support commissioning and testing of security systems.

Work closely with the projects and service teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with health & safety and technical standards.

Maintain accurate documentation and update job sheets.
Experience and Certifications Required:
-
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working with electronic security systems.

Proficient in CCTV (IP/Analogue), Access Control, and Intruder systems.

Experience with manufacturers such as Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton, and Hikvision.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication and time management abilities.
