Job Title: Security Small Works and Service Engineer
Location: Manchester
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Security Small Works and Service Engineer role covering Manchester and the surrounding areas? This is a mixed-role position combining small installation works and servicing on electronic security systems across domestic and commercial premises. The work includes fault calls, minor installs, and system servicing.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Small works and service on intruder alarms and access control
- Occasional fault calls and minor installations
- Mix of domestic and commercial sites
- Systems include Galaxy and Texecom intruder panels
- Light CCTV involvement as required
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronic security
- Proficient in servicing and fault finding
- Experience with Galaxy and Texecom intruder systems
- Familiarity with access control and basic CCTV work
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- IPAF – beneficial
- Own hand and power tools
- Battery testers, steps, and ladders
- Full PPE
