Role: Security Site Supervisor

Location: London and Home Counties

Salary: £37,000 - £45,000 per annum + Car Allowance

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of security installation projects across London and the Home Counties. This role will be both site and office based, with responsibility for day-to-day site supervision, technical support, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day running of sites, ensuring security works are carried out to quality, safety, and programme requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage engineers, subcontractors, and on-site security personnel.
  • Organise materials and ensure availability of CCTV, access control, and alarm equipment for installation.
  • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions.
  • Monitor site progress and report regularly to the Project Manager.
  • Liaise with clients, main contractors, and design teams regarding security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate site records including progress reports, RAMS, and incident logs.
  • Provide support with technical and operational issues during works.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, intercoms).
  • Supervise access control on sites and ensure compliance with security procedures.
  • Coordinate emergency procedures including evacuations, lockdowns, or security alerts.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or Security Supervisor within the electronic security industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Detection.
  • Fire Detection knowledge – advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with experience managing teams and client liaison.
  • Professional and proactive approach with strong focus on H&S and security compliance.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification – Essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence – Essential.
