Role: Security Service Engineer
Location: Lancaster
Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum + overtime available + company health care plan + referral scheme
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Service Engineer to join a well-established team in Lancaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems while ensuring excellent customer service and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Meet and exceed maintenance and fault-finding targets.
- Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining the causes and consequences of false alarms.
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours callouts and telephone support.
- Understand clients’ needs and fulfil all required jobs.
- Ensure health, safety, and welfare in line with company policy.
- Implement company policies, including information security, environmental, and health and safety policies.
- Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, or interference.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven working knowledge of intruder panels such as Galaxy, Castle, Aritech, Scantronic, Network/IP, and analogue CCTV systems.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in servicing and repair work within the security industry.
- Experience with Network/IP-based products.
- Full UK driving licence (clean).
- Checkable work history and suitable references.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
