Role: Security Service Engineer
Location: Essex
Salary: £44,000 - £51,000 per annum + overtime available + company health care plan + referral scheme
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Service Engineer to join a skilled team in Essex. The role involves the servicing and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fault finding, repair work, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain various intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Work towards and exceed maintenance and fault-finding targets.
- Demonstrate systems for customers, explaining false alarms and system details.
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours callouts and telephone support.
- Understand and fulfil client needs across all assigned jobs.
- Ensure health, safety, and welfare compliance in line with company policies.
- Implement company policies related to information security, environmental, and health and safety standards.
- Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, or interference.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Working knowledge of intruder panels such as Galaxy, Castle, Aritech, Scantronic, Network/IP, and analogue CCTV systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in service and repair work within the security industry.
- Experience with Network/IP-based products.
- Clean full UK driving licence.
- Checkable work history and suitable references.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
