Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Kent
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a skilled Security Service Engineer in Kent with experience in both CCTV and Intruder alarms? We are seeking a qualified Security Service Engineer to carry out PPMs, reactive calls, and fault finding on CCTV and Intruder alarm systems. The role will be primarily based in Kent and surrounding areas, focusing on a variety of systems, including Galaxy, Texecom, Risco, Hikvision, and Pelco.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Carry out 70% Intruder alarm work (Galaxy, Texecom, Risco) and 30% CCTV work (Hikvision, Pelco).
- Responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive fault finding, and service work across these systems.
- Ensure high-quality service and timely completion of tasks.
- Manage and resolve client issues effectively while ensuring safety standards are met.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience servicing electronic security systems (Intruder alarms and CCTV).
- Experience working with Intruder systems (Galaxy, Texecom, Risco) and CCTV systems (Hikvision, Pelco).
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- Case vetting to be completed (Essential).
- Hand tools, power tools, steps, ladders.
- Full PPE (Safety boots, hi-vis, helmet).
- Lock-out/tag-out kit (Essential).
