Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle — from planning through to handover
  • Oversee RAMS and ensure site documentation meets H&S standards
  • Coordinate internal staff and subcontractors across multiple sites
  • Protect project margin while maintaining quality and timelines
  • Monitor site progress, manage procurement, and address blockers promptly
  • Ensure effective setup, mobilisation, and demobilisation across all projects
  • Lead and develop the Assistant PM, Field Supervisor, and Project Engineers
  • Define clear roles and team interdependencies as the business evolves
  • Support performance reviews and team growth through the People Pathway
  • Act as the bridge between field teams, operations, and directors
  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to client reporting and operational updates
  • Champion continuous improvement across PM frameworks and SimPro use
  • Embed scalable processes that grow with the business
  • Proactively suggest improvements to project delivery and cross-team workflows

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Strong understanding of H&S practices for field-based installations
  • Financially literate with experience protecting and improving margin
  • Proficient with project tracking tools (e.g. SimPro or similar)
  • Confident leading cross-functional teams through change and growth
  • Highly organised, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Background in security engineering or renewables (desirable)
  • Experience implementing or improving project/field systems (desirable)
  • Understanding of large-scale energy or infrastructure projects (desirable)
