Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 per annum + Car or Car Allowance

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Project Manager to deliver security system projects. Typical solutions include CCTV, access control, intruder detection, public address, intercom, radio, IP networks, BMS, and traffic management systems such as barriers and blockers. You will manage projects from design through to final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required standards while acting as the primary point of contact for clients and supporting junior engineers as part of the wider delivery team.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver the full lifecycle of security projects from initial design and planning through to commissioning and handover.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and NSI standards.
  • Track project performance, manage costs, and produce monthly financial and progress reports.
  • Identify and implement value engineering opportunities.
  • Oversee health, safety, and quality compliance on all sites.
  • Produce contract documentation, drawings, and programmes of work.
  • Lead client and internal meetings, including pre-start, progress, and technical reviews.
  • Resolve technical or commercial challenges promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure installations meet quality, compliance, and client expectations.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure accurate handovers to maintenance teams.
  • Support training and development of project team members.
  • Assist with client relationship management and wider business development activity.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder detection, public address, intercom, radio, IP networks, BMS, and traffic management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycles—design, delivery, commissioning, and handover.
  • Background working with NSI, BS, and relevant industry standards.
  • Experience overseeing subcontractors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and project cost control.
