Role: Security Project Manager
Location: London - 1/2 days from home
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + Travel Allowance
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Project Manager in London to join a leading Design and Build Team. As a Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project cycle, from bid stage to handover, overseeing the on-site installation, support, and maintenance of specialist smart building technology across a number of well-established Client sites. The perfect candidate will have experience managing profit and loss (P&L) and will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project life cycle from bid stage through to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery of security projects.
- Oversee the on-site installation and coordination of smart building technologies, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality standards.
- Maintain and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure efficient and successful project delivery.
- Take full P&L responsibility for projects, making sure all financial aspects align with company goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, managing expectations, and building strong relationships.
- Regularly meet with clients to discuss progress, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor the project team, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to the agreed plan, timeline, and quality standards.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project life cycle.
- Resolve any issues that arise on-site and ensure that corrective actions are taken quickly to keep the project on track.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management, ensuring full visibility on project progress, finances, and potential issues.
- Ensure that all documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications, is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with client requirements and industry standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to clearly convey information to clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage issues and find effective solutions.
- Proven experience managing client relationships, handling client expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Demonstrated understanding of commercial aspects of project management, including managing P&L and budgets.
