: Electronic Security Project Manager

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum
Are you looking for an Electronic Security Project Manager position working in Cardiff? As an Electronic Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of electronic security system projects, ensuring installations are completed on time, within scope, and to strict quality and safety standards. You will be working for an established electronic security specialist delivering innovative system solutions across multiple commercial sectors.
Responsibilities :

Manage end-to-end delivery of electronic security projects, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and integrated systems.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project objectives.

Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders and provide progress reports.

Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Oversee system commissioning, testing, and client handover documentation.

Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Support the sales and design teams during tenders by providing technical input and project planning insight.

Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up to date, and stored in line with company procedures.
Experience and Certifications Required:

A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing electronic security projects or similar technical installations.

Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and system integration technologies.

Demonstrable experience managing budgets, timelines, and project teams.

Understanding of risk assessment, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Relevant project management certification (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent)is advantageous.

A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field is beneficial.
