Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum

Are you looking for an Electronic Security Project Manager position working in Cardiff? As an Electronic Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering electronic security projects on time and within budget. You will work closely with installation teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality, technical accuracy, and smooth project delivery across all phases.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of electronic security projects, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and integrated systems.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders and produce progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee system commissioning, testing, and client handover documentation.
  • Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Support the sales and design teams during the tender process by providing technical input and project planning insight.
  • Ensure project documentation is up to date, accurate, and stored in accordance with company procedures.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience managing electronic security installation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and integrated security technologies.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and project teams.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Relevant project management certification beneficial (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field is advantageous.
