Security Project Manager
Location: Near Durham (on-site)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £350–£375 per day (outside IR35)
Start Date: 1st February
Working Pattern: 3 days per week (on-site only – no remote working)
Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Security Project Manager to oversee a range of physical security upgrade projects across a live plant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering site security improvements, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage security infrastructure projects including CCTV, access control systems, and fencing installations.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site operations teams to minimise disruption.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and security standards.
- Manage risk assessments and oversee testing and commissioning of equipment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing security-related projects in an industrial or plant environment.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and perimeter fencing systems.
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with contractor management and health & safety on complex sites.
