Technical Resources are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Project Engineer to support the Stornoway rollout of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems across multiple public sector sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile security upgrade programme, managing the delivery and commissioning of integrated security systems to strict technical and safety standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:

Manage and oversee electronic security projects from planning through to completion.

Undertake commissioning of systems when required.

Verify the accuracy of equipment specifications at the pre-installation stage.

Develop and manage site-specific method statements and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

Ensure systems are fully tested, commissioned, and supported by accurate O&M documentation.

Deliver client handovers and training, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience required:
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience commissioning and managing integrated security systems.

Proven experience delivering projects for government or public sector clients.

Strong technical understanding of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
-
ECS Card.
-
Own hand tools, laptop, and PPE.
-
Full UK Driving Licence.
