Security Project Engineer in Bristol

Security Project Engineer
Location: South-West or Bristol (Somerset, Devon up to Bristol)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £340 per night (Hours are 5pm to 2am)

Description of contract / programme of works:
• Management of electronic security projects.
• Undertake commissioning of systems when required.
• To verify the detailed accuracy of equipment specifications at the “pre-installation” stage.
• To develop and manage site specific method statements and risk assessments where necessary and ensure that Health and Safety requirements are upheld
• To supervise sub-contractors effectively.
• To ensure that systems are properly tested and commissioned and assist in the production of O&M documentation.
• To ensure that customers receive appropriate and adequate training and maximise customer satisfaction.
Experience required:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience on Security installation, project engineering and commissioning
• Programming Galaxy Intruder Alarm – This is essential

Required:
• Hand tools, Power tools, steps and ladders
• Laptop – various leads
• Full PPE – boots and trousers and glasses

Required Documentation/Certificates:
• SSSTS (beneficial)
• ECS (Essential)
