Job Title: Security Installation Engineer
Location: North West London
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you looking for a Security Installation Engineer role in North West London? You’ll be responsible for disconnecting and reinstalling mag locks, push-to-exit buttons, and emergency door release systems as part of a phased door replacement project. You’ll follow the on-site joinery team from door to door, supporting each access point as it is fitted.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Disconnect existing mag lock systems
- Reinstall mag locks, emergency release pads, and exit buttons to new doors
- Liaise with site supervisor and complete site induction
- Work sequentially with door installation team across multiple access points
Experience required:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in access control installation
- Confident working with mag locks and push-release systems
- Experience working on live commercial or public-facing sites
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- DBS – beneficial
- ECS card – beneficial
- Own hand and power tools
- Steps and ladders
- Full PPE
