Job Title: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Rate: £220 p/day
Are you a Security Installation Engineer based near Bury St Edmunds? We’re recruiting for an experienced engineer to carry out 2nd fix works on intruder alarms and CCTV systems at a retail park. The cabling has already been completed — you’ll be responsible for device installation, testing and handover working independently on site.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- 2nd fix installation of intruder alarms and CCTV systems
- Working solo on a pre-cabled retail site
- Ensuring systems are installed to spec and tested thoroughly
Experience required:
- Strong background in security installation
- Confident working independently on live commercial sites
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS card (required)
- IPAF 3a (required)
- Hand tools, power tools, full PPE, and A-frame ladder
