Role: Security Estimator
Location: North London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Bonus
Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Security Estimator in North London. We are seeking a competent professional with experience in security systems, quoting, and liaising with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quotations and estimates for fire alarm and fire extinguisher projects
- Schedule and coordinate engineers' workloads, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery
- Manage project spreadsheets and documentation, maintaining up-to-date records on costs, schedules, and progress
- Supervise and support a team of engineers, ensuring high standards of work and providing guidance
- Meet with clients to assess requirements, present solutions, and maintain strong working relationships
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, supporting tender submissions, and building client relationships
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety standards and regulations
- Resolve any issues related to project execution, including scheduling conflicts and resource allocation
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience as a Security Estimator in the fire and security industry
- Strong knowledge of security systems and the ability to produce accurate quotes
- Experience managing project schedules and documentation
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- NSI-Gold or equivalent certifications (desirable)
- Experience in fire safety standards and regulations
