Are you a skilled Security Engineer with strong experience in door entry, access control and CCTV systems? Based in London or Greater London and looking to join a growing team with a supportive environment? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Engineer position on behalf of an established client offering a competitive salary, development opportunities, and varied site-based work across the capital.
Responsibilities :
● Install, maintain, fault-find and repair CCTV, access control and door entry systems
● Diagnose and repair faulty components such as cameras, control panels, readers, and cabling
● Carry out routine maintenance and system health checks
● Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns
● Maintain accurate records of system configuration and parts used
● Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure smooth service delivery
● Adhere to health and safety regulations and company standards
● Participate in out-of-hours callout rota (1 in 8)
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 8 years' experience in security systems engineering
● Strong knowledge of door entry, access control and CCTV
● Familiar with systems such as Paxton, Hikvision, Dahua, and BPT
● Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
● ECS/CSCS card and relevant certifications (desirable)
● Full UK driving licence
