Role: Security Design Engineer
Location: Scotland - Remote
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum + Company Car
Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Security Design Engineer based in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a national business that delivers design, installation, and maintenance services to some of the UK’s most recognisable organisations across retail, healthcare, and corporate sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Progress sales enquiries and tender requirements by working closely with Business Development Managers
- Design a range of security systems and integrated building systems
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender documentation in line with company standards
- Ensure all system designs comply with technical and regulatory standards
- Assess risks influencing system design and adjust accordingly
- Review customer specification changes and adapt system proposals
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in security systems design
- Strong working knowledge of electronic security systems or network infrastructure
- Ability to read and publish technical specifications and drawings
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards for system design
