Role: Security Design Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Security Design Engineer based in London. The successful candidate will have experience producing technical designs and detailed quotations for major security projects. This role will suit a professional with a strong background in the security industry, keen to take a lead role within the Bids team and manage the full lifecycle of security system design projects.
Responsibilities:
- Take a lead role within the Bids team, producing technical designs and job costing/estimating for security projects.
- Carry out detailed site surveys of security system installations, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Produce detailed technical proposals for security systems.
- Lead and contribute to the Pre-Sales Bid team, ensuring high-quality and professional proposals for clients.
- Manage allocated enquiries from the receipt of tender documentation through to bid submission, ensuring time lines and specifications are met.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience within the electronic security industry, particularly in technical design.
- Proven ability to produce detailed, accurate quotations for security system projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
