Role: Security Design Engineer
Location: Central Belt
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Bonus
Technical Resources are recruiting for a skilled Security Design Engineer based in the Central Belt area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with design experience in fire and security systems looking to grow with a stable, supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Design of integrated security systems including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms
- Carrying out site surveys to inform designs
- Liaising with site teams, project managers, and suppliers
- Producing technical schematics and schedules
- Ensuring compliance with BS 5839, EN54, and client specifications
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Background in fire alarm systems, electrical, or building services
- Proficient in AutoCAD and reading technical schematics
- Experience designing integrated security solutions preferred
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of relevant British Standards
