Job Title: SC Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Colchester
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking an experienced SC Data Cabling Engineer in Colchester to carry out installations and terminations of Cat6 copper cables, fibre cables, and Access Points (APs). The role will require the engineer to work on various installations and ensure the highest standard of work.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation and termination of Cat6 copper cables.
- Installation of fibre cables.
- Installation of Access Points (APs).
Experience required:
- Experience as a Data Cabling Engineer, with a focus on Cat6 copper cable installations and terminations.
- Experience in fibre cable installation and AP installation.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ECS/CSCS card (Essential).
- SC Clearance (Possibly BPSS).
- IPAF (Beneficial).
- Standard hand tools.
- Termination tools.
- Drill.
- Integrity testers/cable testers (Beneficial).
