Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Sales Manager to join a growing security provider. This role will focus on generating new business, developing key accounts, and driving reoccurring revenue through maintenance and monitoring contracts, alongside installations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to expand the client portfolio across target sectors
  • Drive new business opportunities through networking, exhibitions, social media, and prospecting
  • Manage inbound leads while generating your own pipeline of opportunities
  • Focus on reoccurring revenues via maintenance and monitoring contracts
  • Lead on tenders, proposals, and client presentations
  • Support existing account development in collaboration with internal teams
  • Network with consultants, architects, end users, and VAR partners
  • Collaborate with group services including EFIRE, KSOC, Guarding, Protect, and Quidvis
  • Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems
  • Provide customer handovers and ensure the highest levels of service and satisfaction
  • Deliver sales forecasts and support business reporting

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience selling security systems into medium, large, or national accounts
  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems (Intruder, CCTV, Access Control)
  • Proven track record of new business development and account retention
  • Ability to self-generate opportunities within target sectors
  • Exceptional communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Consultative sales approach with a proactive mindset
  • Professional sales training and methodology exposure – desirable
  • Experience with maintenance and monitoring takeovers – desirable
  • Degree or higher education in a commercial field – desirable
  • Familiarity with CRM systems – desirable
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) – desirable
