Role : Regional Engineering Manager
Location: Remote (with occasional site visits)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + Company Car.

Technical Resources are recruiting for a Regional Engineering Manager to work with a leading Fire & Security services provider. Our client employs over 500 people and delivers to a broad range of recognisable clients, from national retailers and healthcare providers to major corporate enterprises. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Manager to oversee regional operations on a remote basis.

Responsibilities :

  • Deliver KPIs and performance targets within your region.

  • Manage productivity, utilisation, and engineer availability.

  • Oversee engineer incentive schemes and ensure compliance with checks.

  • Operate to the highest business standards, managing risk and protecting the brand.

  • Develop the RPS team and Field Line Supervisors within your region.

  • Maintain and update the engineer skills matrix regularly.

  • Ensure service levels and staffing are aligned to customer performance standards.

  • Work closely with scheduling to ensure best practice and smooth daily operations.

  • Hold daily calls with the scheduling team to review performance and adapt plans.

  • Ensure timesheets are accurate and reflective of worked hours.

  • Liaise with Key Account Managers on site-specific issues.

  • Optimise subcontractor performance when utilised.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience managing complex, field-based engineering teams.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.

  • Good working knowledge of Fire & Security standards and codes of practice.

  • Ability to assess technical risk and interpret data effectively.

  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.

  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work flexibly.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
