Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum + Company Car + Bonus
Technical Resources are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of projects across London and the South East. The role is initially site and office-based, with the option of hybrid working once probation is completed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of cost control, estimating, and contractual documentation across projects
- Prepare and review tenders, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and supporting documents
- Monitor project progress, cost variations, and deliver accurate financial reporting
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout project lifecycles
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying – Essential
- Experience within fire safety or electrical contracting industries – Highly Desirable
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and provide cost-efficient solutions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Full UK Driving Licence – Essential (role involves travel across London and the South East)
