Project Manager – Data Cabling + Security
Location: London (Multiple Sites)
Duration: Initial 3 months (likely extension to 6–12 months)
Rate: £280 – £310 per day
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Data Cabling + Security within the construction sector. The role involves overseeing multiple sites across London, working directly with main contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate site teams across multiple projects
- Ensure all documentation, work permits, and cards are in place
- Oversee health and safety compliance and Safe Start packs
- Drive site teams and ensure project progress
- Report on costs, identify labour/material savings (no P&L responsibility)
- Monitor variations and early warnings (awareness required, not execution)
Requirements:
- Experience in construction Data Cabling + Security projects
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Commercial awareness (cost tracking/reporting)
- Able to manage multiple concurrent jobs
- London-based or commutable
Certifications (Required/Preferred):
- SMSTS or SSSTS (Required)
- PM qualifications (Desirable)
