Technical Resources are currently working with a well renowned Consultancy, Construction and Refurbishment company based close to London. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a team, primarily based in West London. This role involves extensive interaction with Clients, Site Managers, Internal Managers as well as carrying out regular meetings and site visits. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and working from scope/designs, managing onsite operatives, scheduling works for projects, and much more.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct client meetings to discuss project requirements and updates.
- Travel between sites in West and South London for client meetings and site visits.
- Visit client sites to assess projects and on-site teams.
- Coordinating on-site teams.
- Working from scope/designs to create accurate project plans.
- Full Profit & Loss / Commercial responsibilities.
- Making sure all projects are running to tight deadlines.
- Review works with internal teams/engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Account management/relationship management to maintain and develop client relationships.
- Build rapport to gain repeat work through exceptional service and project delivery.
- Making sure the correct labour is on each project.
- Making sure all materials are readily available to complete projects.
- Plan project timelines to ensure timely completion.
- Liaising with teams to help projects stay on track and address any issues promptly.
- Dealing with any escalations from client.
- Own the projects from start to finish delivering a “World Class” service to clients.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction / electrical industry.
- Experience delivering Airport projects is advantageous.
- Proven track record of running multiple high value projects at once.
- Strong man management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Construction / Electrical background with experience in high-end commercial or industrial projects.
- Emotional intelligence to navigate complex client interactions.
- Preference for candidates located as close to Heathrow as possible, for ease of travel and client engagement.
