Are you looking for a Project Manager – Civil Engineering position working across the Central Belt of Scotland? As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple deep drainage and civil engineering schemes from pre-start through to completion. You will be working for a specialist civil engineering contractor delivering complex underground infrastructure projects within the water and utilities sector.
Responsibilities :
● Plan and manage deep drainage, rising main, and associated civil engineering works in line with industry and client standards
● Oversee project programmes, budgets, and quality, including pipeline installation, manhole sequencing, and resource allocation
● Manage temporary works, including shoring, cofferdams, and dewatering alongside concrete structures and reinstatement works
● Ensure full HSEQ compliance, including RAMS, CDM, confined-space works, lifting operations, and environmental controls
● Act as the primary client liaison, attending progress meetings and managing project documentation under NEC contracts
● Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
Experience and Certifications Required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Project Management or Senior Site Management role within civil engineering, water or utilities
● Experience managing deep drainage, utilities, or large-scale civil engineering projects
● Strong knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contract administration and cost control
● Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS
● Engineering qualification (Degree / HNC / HND) desirable
● Full UK Driving Licence
