Are you looking for a Project Manager position? As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate fire and suppression system projects from inception through to handover, ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with the highest technical and compliance standards. You will be working for a well-established Fire & Security provider delivering specialist detection, suppression and fire safety solutions across commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute projects across Fire Alarms, Gas Suppression, Watermist, Fixed Installations, Aspirating and other specialist detection systems.
  • Coordinate materials, labour and site activities to ensure projects run efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients regularly and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure full compliance with British Standards, including BS5306, BS8433, BS EN15004, BS6266, BS5839 and BS7671.
  • Provide technical support, estimations and interpretation of system designs.
  • Ensure all documentation, reporting, commissioning and handover packs are completed accurately.
  • Monitor budgets, project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Resolve technical or operational issues promptly to maintain project continuity.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and best practice across the project delivery function.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Project Manager within Fire Alarms, Gas Suppression, Watermist or related industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and software (Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and delivering projects to strict compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant industry or project management certifications are beneficial.
