Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Site Manager to oversee the delivery of security projects within a live data centre environment in Slough. The role requires a hands-on professional with technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, and networking systems who can coordinate on-site activities to ensure successful and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment of Bosch and Hanwell access control and CCTV systems.
- Coordinate resources, subcontractors, and materials to meet project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support during installation and commissioning.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and progress updates.
- Ensure minimal disruption to data centre operations throughout project execution.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Site Manager on security or ICT infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical understanding of Bosch and Hanwell systems – access control and CCTV.
- Hands-on knowledge of ICT and networking infrastructure, including cabling and hardware integration.
- Demonstrated experience working within data centres or other secure critical environments.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and project coordination skills.
- Relevant safety qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent).
