Job Title: POS Engineer
Location: Southampton
Rate: £21.25 per hour
Are you a POS Engineer in Southampton? We need you to install payment devices and EPOS systems for tills across various sites. The role involves basic configuration, testing, and ensuring the equipment is plugged into the network. This will be a slower-paced installation compared to festival work, with an emphasis on careful setup.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation of payment devices and EPOS systems for tills
- Plugging equipment into the network and conducting basic configuration
- Performing basic testing of installed systems
- Slower-paced installs compared to festival environments
Experience required:
- Basic knowledge of POS or EPOS systems
- Familiarity with installation and basic configuration tasks
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CSCS/ECS card (beneficial)
- Tool list TBC (to be confirmed)
